OnePlus is expanding its Turbo lineup with two new phones launching in China, and honestly, the specs are pretty wild for the price. The OnePlus Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro just hit the market, and they're packing 144Hz displays, huge batteries, and impressive processing power that'll make budget phone shoppers sit up and take notice.
The Turbo 6X starts at just 1,499 yuan, which is roughly Rs 13,000, making it an absolute steal if it ever makes it to India. You get a 6.72-inch LCD display with 144Hz refresh, a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER chip, a 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and IP64 durability. The Pro model bumps things up to 1,699 yuan for the base variant, adding an OLED screen, the beefier Dimensity 7400 Super processor, an 8,000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging. Both phones support NFC and Bluetooth 5.4, so you're getting solid connectivity features across the board.
The Turbo 6X Pro is the real showstopper here. Its 6.78-inch OLED panel hits 3,600 nits peak brightness, which is genuinely flagship level stuff. The 8,000mAh battery is backed by 80W UFCS charging and supports multiple charging standards, so you're getting super flexibility there. The cameras are decent too, with a 50MP OIS primary sensor on the back and a 16MP selfie camera up front. It also gets proper durability certifications with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings.
The standard Turbo 6X keeps things more practical with a plastic frame and side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but you're still getting a solid daily driver. Both phones come in multiple storage options and some pretty slick colour choices like Heart's Desire Orange for the Pro. Right now though, OnePlus hasn't confirmed any global or Indian launch plans, so these look like they're staying exclusive to China for now. If you're in India hunting for a budget phone, this is definitely something to keep an eye on in case availability changes down the line.
